8x60 reality entertainment series for Channel 4

September Films has won its biggest commission to date from Channel 4, a major eight-part battle of the sexes reality series based on US format of WHEN WOMEN RULE THE WORLD.
Hosted by T4 presenter Steve Jones, the 8x60 minute series will turn the tables on traditional gender roles. The show sends 10 chauvinistic men to live in a remote Caribbean village where "women rule and men obey".
Eight women, including a former porn star, a finance manager and a feminist playwright, each pick out their own personal servants from the unsuspecting men, with one woman choosing three. Each week, the women choose one man to be sacrificed to the sea in return for food and supplies. The last surviving male wins £30,000.
Created by Rocket Science, the production company behind Joe Millionaire and Temptation Island, the US version of the show is set to air on Fox in June.
