In November 18-year-old Laura Williams from Shrewsbury makes medical history by becoming the youngest mother in the world to give birth to conjoined twins. She and her husband Aled suddenly find themselves headline news when their twin daughters, Hope and Faith, are born in London. The twins are immediately transferred to the world-renowned Great Ormond Street Hospital, where a team of specialists use everything at their disposal to keep the girls alive after separation. But as Hope loses her fight for life, the family struggle to support Faith while at the same time mourning her lost sister, relying on each other to get through these gruelling and exhausting events. Meanwhile, the hospital have to manage a worldwide story.
